Understanding and innovating through IP: discover the new podcast launched by MAIN!
Published on October 22, 2025
It's no longer a secret: intellectual property (IP) plays a key role in the success of innovative businesses. With this new podcast, MAIN invites you to explore further how IP can become a real strategic asset for entrepreneurs and the organizations that support them.
This initiative is part of the ÉleverlaPI program, funded by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), with the primary objective of strengthening awareness, understanding, and strategic use of IP in the Canadian entrepreneurial ecosystem.
In each episode, an IP expert and a support professional will share their advice, anecdotes, and feedback from their experience in sectors where IP plays a key role (scientific entrepreneurship, cultural and creative industries, AI, and many others). The series will be hosted by Philippe Richard Bertrand, entrepreneur, columnist, and author.
The first episode focuses on scientific entrepreneurship, or how IP can become a real driver of technology transfer and commercialization. For this first episode, we were fortunate to welcome Diana Horqque, Executive Director at V1 Studio, and Jean-Nicolas Delage, Partner at Osler.
