Designed for founders and employees of startups, Parapluie offers easy access to MAIN's resources portal as well as health coverage for subscribers and their families.
Parapluie is a continuation of Le Parachute, an initiative for awareness, intervention and consultation with a clear goal: to normalize self-care, reduce the human cost of entrepreneurship, and strengthen the resilience of those who have the courage to start a business.

Get instructions from Dialogue on how to access 24/7 telemedicine, mental health support, and the Personal and Professional Assistance (EAP) program directly on the Dialogue app or website.

Can Parapluie cover the cost of consultations with my psychologist?
Parapluie does not reimburse consultations. Digital health services are offered through the Dialogue platform.
There are two (2) ways to access mental health services on the Dialogue platform:
1 – as part of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP):
Support or therapy led by a mental health practitioner is offered after an assessment process.
For specialized treatment or needs assessment, the person is referred to the appropriate external resources. Limit of four (4) sessions per person.
2 – in the Mental Health+ programprogram: self-directed or practitioner-led therapy.
includes unlimited access to mental health specialists for advice and support in times of crisis, as well as convenient virtual therapy sessions, as needed.
What is the approach to sessions with psychologists or other therapists?
After the initial assessment and discussion of treatment goals, the practitioner works with the member to develop a personalized treatment plan and determine the number of sessions required, with the goal of helping them regain full functioning and well-being. Therapy sessions (mental health consultations) continue until functional remission, that is, until:
- The objectives and goals defined in the treatment plan are achieved;
- Clinical questionnaires PHQ-9 and GAD-7 indicate an improvement in symptoms (without a fixed threshold, as this varies depending on each situation);
- The member feels confident in using the tools and strategies acquired during therapy;
- The therapist is satisfied with the progress and improvement of the limb.
Medical medical consultations related to mental health (e.g., for medication) may also be part of the collaborative care plan and continue for as long as necessary.
How many hours are included for each specialty (e.g., telemedicine, psychologist)?
Parapluie gives continuous access to Dialogue digital health services.
What the subscription covers:
- Telemedicine — Access on demand, 7 days a week (and 24/7 for several needs), no hourly quota. Each request opens a clinical case (evaluation, advice, prescription/referral if necessary).
- Mental health support — Clinical assessment, followed by brief resolution-oriented therapy. The number of sessions is adapted as needed; if long-term follow-up is required, you will be refer to the appropriate resources (RAMQ/private) with transition support.
PAE (personal/professional assistance) — Brief consultations on legal, financial, nutritional, relationship issues, etc. Limits per case (a few sessions) according to program policy.

Why do I need to complete my profile on the MAIN portal to gain access to Parapluie?
For three (3) main reasons:
- Activation & privacy.
Your entrepreneurial profile is used to verify eligibility and secure the activation of your subscription. This data is managed by MAIN in accordance with our privacy policies. Access to Dialogue is activated once the MAIN Portal profile is complete.
- Additional resources and benefits.
By completing your profile on the MAIN portal, you unlock free referral services (a green button will appear at the top right of your page on the MAIN portal). By using this button, you will receive personalized guidance to the right resources, without having to repeat your information. You will also be among the first to benefit from exclusive services reserved for portal members, which will be announced and rolled out soon. - Collective impact.
Your information helps identify real needs and improve services for entrepreneurs (including Parapluie coverage).

Yes!
Is the EAP intended for business owners/managers?
Yes, the service is known as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and is available to all subscribers (and their families), whether they are owners or employees of start-ups.
Is it possible to cancel the subscription during the year?
The subscriber signs up for Parapluie for a full year from the moment of activation. It is possible not to renew after one year.
Is it possible to pay monthly?
Payments are made on an annual basis in order to secure the best rate from the partner.
