"Building an Ecosystem in Quebec" presented by Claudia Loutfi, a preview of the MAIN 2026 Summit

On February 11, at the MAIN 2026 Summit in Shawinigan, Claudia Loutfi, consultant in organizational resilience and digital transition, will offer us her perspective on the concept of "Building an ecosystem in Quebec."

When faced with ecological, social, and technological challenges, we often look for solutions to pilot, control, and optimize. But what if the answer lies elsewhere?

According to Claudia, a systemic approach to collaboration is needed to resolve recurring problems in the ecosystem: fragmentation, duplication of services, misalignment of support to meet structural requirements, etc.

Addressing the root causes, and not just the symptoms, will create fertile conditions for collaboration.

Claudia Loutfi proposes a simple but radical idea: an ecosystem is not managed from the top down, it is cultivated. Drawing on Quebec's experience in territorial development, she shows how to recognize our interdependencies, strengthen ties, and create the conditions for sustainable, pragmatic transformation rooted in our territories.

A journey that nourishes his vision

Claudia Loutfi supports impact organizations in improving their operations, collaborative practices, and digital transition. Her career path, from digital marketing and community development to the social economy and regional organizations, has enabled her to develop a unique systemic vision of what sustains—or weakens—local ecosystems.

After working closely with the startup ecosystem startup for several years, Claudia now has an outside perspective that allows her to offer a nuanced and complementary viewpoint: she still believes in the creativity and vitality of entrepreneurial culture, while questioning dominant models and exploring other ways of "building an ecosystem" where collaboration, grassroots involvement, and sustainability are at the heart of the discussion.

Coming from a large Lebanese family, Claudia experienced firsthand the benefits of having a large, close-knit community. For her, giving her time and energy to help organizations that want to solve systemic problems in communities makes more sense than raising capital for a minority of people.

The MAIN 2026 Summit will be held on February 11 and 12 at the Alphonse-Desjardins Entrepreneurship Center in Shawinigan.
